How long does trucking to Europe take?

16–22 calendar days from departure to pickup. Trucks are loaded in Shenzhen and depart every Saturday, with a 16:00 cut-off (Beijing Time).

What route do the trucks take?

Loaded in Shenzhen, they leave China via Xinjiang, cross Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus, clear customs in Poland and Belgium, and the goods are then delivered to the consignee.

Trucking, air, rail or sea: which should I choose?

Air is fastest at 8–14 days; trucking takes 16–22 days from departure; rail 32–40 days and sea 45–52 days. You can combine them according to volume and when you need the stock listed. Ask us for current rates.

Can trucking use VAT deferment?

Yes. With valid EORI and VAT numbers (registered in a country other than Belgium) you can use deferment; otherwise choose DDP.

Goods are picked up 16–22 calendar days after departure. That puts trucking between air and rail, a good fit for restocks with some volume that can't wait over a month. Customs can be DDP or VAT deferment.

DDP or VAT Deferment

With DDP we clear customs and pay the duty and import VAT, all included in the freight rate. With VAT deferment, customs clearance uses the importer's own EORI and VAT numbers: import VAT is accounted for in the VAT return, duty is billed at cost, and the freight rate is lower than DDP. Deferment requires the VAT number to be registered in a country other than Belgium.
